Biography

At Hofstra: Fourth season on the Hofstra Softball roster...Used primarily as a pinch hitter last season, but could see time as the designated player or in the outfield this year...Has a career .200 batting average, with two doubles, two homers and eight RBI.

2009: Saw action in 28 games, including four starts...Batted .222 (6-27), with two homers and six RBI...Hit a pinch-hit, two-run, two-out homer in the eighth inning of a 4-3 road win over Fordham...Hit her first career homer as a pinch-hitter in an 8-0 win over Rutgers...Nearly had another pinch hit homer at LIU, but was robbed by LIU center fielder  Renae Beauchman, who fell over the fence to make the catch...Drew bases loaded walk in win over Drexel...Had RBI single against Indiana...Batted 1-for-3 in the regular season finale against LIU in a starting assignment...

2008: Saw action in 29 games, including one start in left field...Batted .200 (2-10) with one RBI and 12 runs scored...Drive in a run with a pinch-hit single against UNC Wilmington...Scored a run in the Pride's 5-1 win over Canisius in the NCAA Tournament...Scored a run in all three games of the Delaware series...Pinch-ran and scored a run in a 4-2 win over Towson in an elimination game of the CAA Tournament...Was 1-for-1 with a run scored against Rutgers.


2007: Saw action in 17 games, including two starts at DP...Had a .167 batting average (3-18) with one RBI...Had RBI double in a pinch hitting appearance against Rutgers...Also had pinch hits against Iona and Manhattan...Started at DP in games against Michigan and Auburn...Reached base on an error in the 10th inning to set up the game winning run against James Madison.

High School: Played four years of softball at Howell High School in Howell, New Jersey...Also played four years of soccer and three years of basketball...Won the Distinguished Athlete Award and the Scholar-Athlete Award in 2006, as well as the Sportsmanship Award in 2005 and 2006.

Personal: Born Feb. 28, 1988...Has two sisters...Older sister, Tami, plays for Marywood University...Lists Mia Hamm as her favorite athlete...Started playing softball in sixth grade...Also recruited by Rutgers and Stockton State...Has organized a Crop Walk for Hunger, and is a volunteer Sunday School teacher...Majoring major in athletic training with a minor in physical education...Aspires to be an athletic trainer after graduation.
