2010-11: Wrestled in 38 matches as a true freshman at 197 pounds...Posted a 15-23 record including a 7-12 mark in duals and a 2-4 record in CAA matches...Tallied 12 wins by decision, one victory by pin and two by major decision...Placed fourth with a 2-2 record at the CAA Championships...Finished seventh with a 3-2 record at the New York State Championships...Was 7-2 in his last nine matches of the season...Had a season-best, six-match winning streak in February and March.

High School: Came to Hofstra from Wantagh (NY) High School where he wrestled and played football...Posted a career scholastic record of 165-35...Three-time NHSCA All-American...Two-time New York State High School runner-up...Two-time Fargo All-American...Was a member of Wantagh's two-time Nassau County championship teams and the Warrior's New York State Championship team in 2009...Posted a 46-2 record  in 2010...New York State runner-up and Section VIII champion as a senior...Recorded a 39-1 record, was the Section VIII champion and New York State High School Championships finalist as a junior in 2009... Fila Cadet All-American in 2009, placing first in Freestyle and third in Greco-Roman...Placed second as a sophomore, and sixth as a junior and senior at the Junior Nationals to earn All-American honors...Fargo All-American placing fourth in Freestyle in 2009 and eighth in 2010... Selected for the inaugural freestyle training program at the U.S. Olympic Training Center last spring...National Honor Society member...Wantagh's Symphonic and Marching Band member.
