He placed seventh at 133 pounds in 2000 and finished fifth at the same weight in 2001 to earn his All-America awards. Fleszar is also one of 16 Pride wrestlers to earn three conference titles or more, winning East Coast Wrestling Association titles in 1999, 2000 and 2001. He also captured three New York State Collegiate Championships in 1998, 1999 and 2000. He ranks fifth in career victories at Hofstra with 130 and holds the single season victory mark at the University with 44 during the 1998-99 season.

Favorite Memory of Hofstra: My favorite memory of Hofstra is being part of the wrestling team and part of the progress of the program.  My freshman year we were in the middle of the pack in the conference, and by my senior year we won the conference championship.  It was a total team effort.

What You Miss Most About Hofstra: What I miss most about Hofstra is that feeling of total physical and mental exhaustion after a wrestling practice.  You look over at your teammates knowing that they feel the same way. I miss that special bond that you have with your teammates.
