Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra IUniversity women's soccer team looks to get back in the win column when it hosts Brown University on Sunday, September 13. Game time at Captains Field is set for 1 p.m. with the contest streaming live on FloCollege. 

The Pride will be celebrating Alumnae Day and will recognize their returning alums at halftime. There will also be a pregame block party on the roadway adjacent to Captains Field beginning at 12 p.m. 

Hofstra (1-4-1) is coming off a 2-1 loss at FDU Thursday night. The Pride held a 1-0 halftime lead before the Knights scored twice in the second half with the game-winner coming with less than four minutes remaining. Emma Johnson had the Pride goal, her second in as many games. 

Brown (4-2-1) is coming off a 1-1 tie at Rhode Island Thursday night. The Bears defeated No. 13 UCF, 7-0, earlier in the week. 

The series between the Pride and Bears is tied at 2-2-2. The teams have played 1-1 draws in each of the last two meetings (2024 and 2025). 

Following Sunday's game, the Pride will return to action Thursday, September 17 when they host Seton Hall at 7 p.m. That game will stream on FloCollege and Prime Video, and be televised on MSG Network.
