Hempstead, NY - 12 Hofstra student-athletes were honored by College Sports Communicators as 2026 Academic All-District © At-Large selections. The 12 Pride student-athletes were recognized for their academic and athletic performances for the 2025-26 academic year.
Christine Dannenfelser,
Nikki Mennella, and
Madeleine Rudolph of women's lacrosse,
Teresa Karoff and
Jaime Lewis of field hockey, and
Natalie Moody of women's golf represent Hofstra on the Women's At-Large Team, while representing the Pride on the men's side are
Charlie Ferrise and
Taishi Shigaki of men's golf,
Austin Clarke and
Trevor Natalie of men's lacrosse, and
Will Conlon and
Alex Turley of wrestling.
Dannenfelser, a junior defender, maintains a 3.85 grade-point average while majoring in finance. She was an IWLCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team and All-CAA First Team selection this past season.
Mennella, a senior attacker, holds a 3.67 GPA as a health & physical education major. She earned Honorable Mention All-America accolades from USA Lacrosse, Second Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors from the IWLCA, and CAA Attacker of the Year and First Team All-CAA recognition this past season.
Rudolph, a senior attacker, is a biochemistry major with a GPA of 3.97 who earned All-CAA Second Team accolades this past season.
Karoff, a senior defender, holds a 3.89 cumulative GPA as a psychology major and was a Second Team NFHCA All-Mideast Region selection and First Team All-CAA pick.
Lewis, a junior forward, is a marketing major with a GPA of 3.76 and was a First Team All-CAA selection this past season.
Moody, a junior, has a 3.61 GPA as a mathematics major. She posted one top 10 and two top 20 finishes for the Pride this past season.
Ferrise majors in finance and has a 3.60 GPA. The sophomore had one top 20 finish for the Pride during the 2025-26 season.
Shigaki, a senior, maintains a 3.68 GPA as an entrepreneurship major and competed in 12 rounds this past season.
Clarke is a finance major with a 3.90 cumulative grade-point average. The red-shirt junior defender was an All-CAA Second Team selection in 2026.
Natalie also majors in finance and owns a 3.90 GPA. The red-shirt senior midfielder earned All-CAA First Team accolades this past season.
Conlon, a junior, holds a 3.71 GPA as a marketing major and placed sixth at 197 pounds at the EIWA Championships this past season.
Turley majors in accounting and has a 3.78 GPA. The red-shirt junior placed seventh at 149 pounds at the 2026 EIWA Championships.
