Orangeburg, NY - Hofstra and St. Thomas Aquinas battled in a thrilling match Saturday evening with the Spartans picking up a 4-3 victory. St. Thomas Aquinas extended their win streak with five wins on the season, while Hofstra fell to 0-6. 

Hideki Matsuoka and Eñaut Garcia started the match off with a 6-3 victory for the Pride in the No. 3 doubles position, while Dominic Anderson and Alex Di Fruscia followed that up with a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles to earn the point.

In singles play, Garcia defeated Ondrej Sramek 6-2, 7-5 at No. 4 and Alex Di Fruscia won a three-set thriller over Lorenzo Meschini at No. 1. St. Thomas Aquinas dominated the rest of singles play to earn the 4-3 victory over the Pride.
