New York, NY - Jason Kerber and William Thu represented the Hofstra men's track team at Columbia's Dr. Sander Scorcher on Saturday and recorded personal best times in the 5000m race, ranking their times in the top-five of the conference in the 5000m this season.

Kerber finished the 5000m race from The Armory in 8th place with a personal best time of 14:30.53 to rank fourth in the 5000m in the CAA, while Thu came in 10th place with a personal best time of 14:35.32 to rank 5th in the CAA. Columbia's Edward Blaha led the 20-finisher pack with a time of 13:49.36 to take first. 

The Pride will be back in action on Friday, January 30 for the Metropolitan Championships from Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York.
