Hofstra Returns To Action Sunday At Journeymen Armbar Duals

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University wrestling team returns from its holiday break with a pair of dual matches Sunday at the Journeymen Armbar Duals in Clifton Park, New York. The Pride faces Princeton at 11:30 a.m. followed by a 1:30 p.m. matchup against EIWA foe Binghamton.

The matches will be streamed on FloCollege with live scoring available through FloArena. Links for both can be found above or on the wrestling schedule page at GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra enters the day with a 2-7 overall record and a 2-1 mark in conference action. The Pride last wrestled on December 21 at the Bucknell Quad, posting a 1-2 mark in three duals. Jake Slotnick (165 pounds) leads the Pride with 12 wins on the season, while Gauge Shipp (133) and Matthew Waddell (184) each have nine victories.

Princeton is 1-3 on the season, while Binghamton is 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the EIWA. Hofstra is 5-3 all-time against the Tigers, while the Pride is 11-11 all-time against the Bearcats.
