Philadelphia, PA - The Hofstra women's tennis team defeated Saint Joseph's in a thrilling match Friday morning. The Pride secured the doubles point with wins by
Amanda Kadiri and
Deniz Soyer at the No. 1 flight and
Abigail Higgins and
Sabira Mohamed at the No. 2 spot, while Kadiri clinched the win for Hofstra with her three-set win over Addison Melfi.
With the win, Hofstra moved to 2-6 overall, while Saint Joseph's dropped to 1-6 on the season.
