Boston, MA - The Hofstra men's indoor track & field team had a successful day of competition Friday as five members of the Pride competed in Boston, Massachusetts.
William Thu, Dan Torrillo and
Jason Kerber raced at Boston College's Eagle Elite Invitational in the afternoon, while
Abraham Longosiwa and
Zach Van Houten represented Hofstra at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational in the evening.
Thu competed in the 3000m race at the Eagle Elite, earning a 12th place finish with his personal best time of 8:43.97 in the 3000m, while in the 5000m Torrillo was 10th with a time of 14:47.43 and Kerber was 12th with a time of 15:28.43. At the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in the 5000m race, Longosiwa placed 41st with a time of 13:43.88 and
Zach Van Houten finished in a personal best time of 14:18.53 to place 139th.
Hofstra will be back in action on February 26 for the Coastal Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championship in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
