Hempstead, NY -
Biggie Patterson had 17 points and 12 rebounds for his first double-double in a Pride uniform, while
Jaeden Roberts tied Patterson for game-high honors with a season-best 17 points in leading the Hofstra men's basketball team to a 92-23 rout of SUNY Old Westbury on Wednesday evening at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. It was the second straight game for Hofstra against an opponent with the nickname Panthers.

The lead quickly grew to 41 as
Cruz Davis and
Preston Edmead scored in the opening two minutes of the second half. Hofstra cruised from there in eventually posting the nearly 70-point win.
Cruz Davis was in double figures once again with 15 points.
