Hofstra Heads To No. 23 Penn, Keystone Classic This Weekend

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University wrestling team will spend a weekend in Philadelphia, competing in a dual match at No. 23 Penn on Saturday at 12 p.m., before taking part in the Keystone Classic on Sunday. Both will take place at the Palestra.

Saturday's dual match will stream on ESPN+, while Sunday's Keystone Classic will be broadcast on FloCollege starting at 9:30 a.m. Links for each can be found on the wrestling schedule page of GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra is 1-3 on the season and is coming off a 32-6 loss to Columbia this past Sunday. Penn is 1-0 following a 36-6 victory over Campbell on the USS Yorktown CV-10.

Red-shirt sophomore Jake Slotnick, who had a nationally-ranked win in the dual match against Columbia, moved into the rankings at No. 29 in the College Wrestling Report and No. 33 in FloWrestling. Slotnick has a team-high eight victories this season.

Following the weekend's action, Hofstra will be off until December 7 when the Pride hosts Wisconsin at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex at 2 p.m.
