West Point, NY - Josh Reynolds clinched the 4-2 win for Hofstra with his victory over Richmond's Davis Wiley at the No. 1 singles flight on Sunday afternoon at Army. The Pride are now 1-0 on the season, while Richmond dropped to 2-3. 

The Pride earned the doubles point with a 6-3 win by Vincent Turina and Kaita Odani and a 7-6 (5) win by Josh Reynolds and Eñaut Garcia over their Spider opponents. 

Reynolds clinched the win for the Hofstra men's tennis team, following a 6-1, 6-2 win by Noa Forste-Dinell against Paxton Pritchard and a 1-6, 6-2, 6-4 win by Matthew Garcia over Cole Brashear. The Spiders had victories by Dylan Atkinson and Zach Portnoy, while the No. 4 singles flight remained unfinished.
