Abraham Longosiwa and
Brian Beck represented the Hofstra men's track & field team at Columbia University's Dr. Sander Invitational on Friday and Saturday from the Armory in New York, New York. Both runners had personal best times in their respective races.
Longosiwa took first place in the men's 3,000m Invitational race with a personal best time of 7:58.92, earning a rank of #36 on the 2025 Men's DI Indoor Top 100 Performance List in the 3,000m.
Beck competed in the men's 5,000m Invitational and earned a 13th place finish with a personal best time of 14:53.74. Iona's Tadhg Donnelly took first in the 5,000m while runners from Columbia rounded out the top three.Â
The Pride will be back in action on Friday, January 31 for the Metropolitan Track & Field Championship from Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York.
