Williamsburg, VA - No. 7 Drexel bested No. 10 Hofstra in the first round of the Coastal Athletic Association Men's Tennis Championship Thursday afternoon. The Dragons defeated the Pride in a hard fought 4-0 match during their second meeting of the year. 

Drexel cliched the doubles point with wins over Hofstra pairs of Hideki Matsuoka/Vincent Turina and Josh Reynolds/Maxim Michaels. The Dragons continued their defeat of the Pride by earning victories at the No. 1, 3, and 5 singles slots to secure the 4-0 victory in the first round of the CAA Championship over Hofstra. 

With the win, Drexel advances to the CAA Quarterfinals to face the No. 2 seeded Delaware.
