Annapolis, MD - Hofstra men's tennis clinched the doubles point with victories from pairs

Josh Reynolds, but Navy came in singles play back to post a 4-3 victory over the Pride Saturday afternoon at the Tose Family Tennis Center.
In No. 2 doubles, Odani/Reynolds earned a 6-4 victory over Navy's Buckingham/Gu. Kovalenko/Mahrt Guyou followed in the No. 1 doubles spot with a 7-6 (7-5) win over Legaspi/Nguyen.
Navy swept four of the six singles matches to secure their victory, despite not securing the doubles point. Reynolds posted a 6-4, 7-5 win over J.J Etterbeek at No. 2 singles. Ostap Kovaleko followed with a three set win over Herrick Legaspi 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Navy moved to 14-2 with the win, while the Pride slipped to 2-5 with the loss.
Hofstra returns to action Sunday, February 25, at the University of Pennsylvania.
