Oceanside, NY – The Hofstra women's tennis team earned a solid 5-2 win over Providence College at Point Set Indoor Tennis and Pickleball Club in Oceanside, New York on Saturday.
It was all Pride to start the match as Hofstra won all three doubles matches, including a 6-2 win at first doubles by
Lea Forste-Dinell and
Deniz Soyer.
Needing three points to capture the win, Foreste-Dinell earned a dominating win at first singles for her second win of the day and the Pride would add singles victory by
Sabira Mohamed and
Dianela Rodriguez to clinch the win. The Pride final singles win came from Soyer.
