Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's cross country team will travel to the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, New Hampshire, this Friday, November 15, for the 2024 NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Championship. 

The 10K men's race will be held at 12 p.m., and live race results will be available through Lancer Timing. A link to the live race results, as well as a link to the meet information page, is available on this release and the schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

The men last competed at the 2024 CAA Championship in Elon, North Carolina, on November 1. Abraham Longosiwa was named an All-CAA postseason honoree after his second place finish in the men's 8K race with a time of 24:22.20. Also running for the Pride at the CAA Championship was Brian Beck in 36th with a time of 26:21.10, William Thu in 27th with a time of 26:24.00, Alex Walsh in 53rd with a time of 27:14.60, and John Ortiz in 82nd place with a time of 29:50.40.

The runner's representing the Pride on Friday will be a race time decision according to head coach Vincent Giambanco. The top three teams in the race qualify for the 2024 NCAA Championship, while the top two runners from teams that did not qualify are selected to compete.
