Hempstead, NY - Hofstra's Emma Johnson scored her first collegiate goal and Millie Davies notched her third goal in the last two games, however Liza Suydam had two goals for Monmouth including the game-winner in a 3-2 win over the Pride Thursday night at Captains Field. The game was Hofstra's regular season finale with the Coastal Athletic Association Championship starting next week.

Hofstra ends the regular season with a 7-4-6 record overall and a 5-3-2 mark in conference play. Monmouth, which has one game remaining, moves to 10-2-5 overall and 6-1-2 in the league.

The back and forth continued in the second half as Summer Reimet scored for Monmouth five minutes in with Gehret and Emily De Almeida notching assists. Davies would counter with a penalty kick goal at 59:45 following a handball in the box. But four minutes later, Suydam would send in Reimet's pass to cap the scoring.
