.Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University President Susan Poser and other distinguished University administrators held a private graduation ceremony for the Hofstra softball program's two seniors and two graduate student, who missed Sunday's commencement exercises as they were competing in the 2023 NCAA Division I Softball Championship Regional at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
Graduating today were
Aliya Catanzarita,
Kasey Collins,
Angelina Ioppolo, and
Nikki Mullin. Catanzarita and Mullin earned bachelor's degrees in exercise physiology and public relations, respectively. Collins earned a master's in accounting, while Ioppolo received her graduate degree in health administration.

President Poser was joined on the stage by Hofstra Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Charles Riordan, Hofstra Vice President and Director of Athletics Rick Cole Jr., and Janet Lenaghan, dean of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business,  Mark Lukasiewicz, dean of the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication, and Jackie Kuehn, Senior Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs.
