Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University baseball team, fresh off a conference win over William & Mary, heads to nationally ranked West Virginia for a two-game set beginning Tuesday night in Morgantown, West Virginia. First pitch Tuesday is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. with Wednesday's game at 3 p.m. Both games will stream live on ESPN+ with live statistics also available.

Hofstra (6-12) is coming off a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over William & Mary Sunday that saw the Pride score three runs in the seventh inning to take the lead. Anthony D'Onofrio hit a two-run, pinch hit double to tie the game and Dylan Palmer followed with an RBI single to give the Pride the lead. Mike McKenna picked up the win and Michael O'Hanlon got the final five outs for his second save of the season.

West Virginia (15-4) enters the national rankings at No. 24 in the D1 Baseball Poll and No. 26 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Poll. The Mountaineers have won nine consecutive games and are coming off a three-game sweep of UNCG this past weekend.

Pitching matchups for the two games are:

Tuesday: Cade Henry (0-3) vs. Aidan Major (1-1)
Wednesday: Sean Hamilton (0-0) vs. Gavin Van Kempen (1-0)

This will be the first meeting between Hofstra and West Virginia on the baseball diamond.

Following the two-game series, Hofstra will continue South to Greensboro, North Carolina, for a three-game series against Colonial Athletic Association rival North Carolina A&T starting Friday.
