Hofstra Celebrates Winter 2023 Commencement

Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University and the Hofstra University Department of Athletics congratulates the 19 Hofstra Pride student-athletes who earned their degrees at midyear commencement on December 21, 2023. We celebrate their tremendous academic and athletic accomplishments, and wish them the best of luck in all of their future endeavors.

Earning their undergraduate degrees were: Pierce Infuso (men's soccer), Jack O'Malley (men's soccer), Jason Ramirez (men's soccer), Shane Salmon (men's soccer), Oliver Svalander (men's soccer), Andrew Weiner (men's soccer), Michael Leandrou (wrestling), Cami Valor (field hockey), Courtney Carollo (women's lacrosse), Jess Smith (women's lacrosse), Skylar Kuzmich (women's soccer), Simran Desai (women's tennis), Jimena Garbino (women's tennis), Nick Marrero (baseball), and Frankie DiMartino (baseball).

The following student-athletes earned graduate degrees: Gabriela Espinoza (field hockey), Albert Kang (men's soccer), Stefan Mason (men's soccer), and Joe Wright (men's soccer).

Sophia Black, a 2017 Hofstra volleyball alum, earned a graduate degree tonight, while men's basketball manager Zach Oestreicher received an undergraduate degree.
