Box Score Oceanside, NY - Hofstra rallied from a 2-1 deficit to post a 4-2 victory over Marist Sunday evening at Point Set Indoor in Oceanside, New York. Josh Reynolds' win at No. 5 singles put the Pride ahead while Matthew Garcia's win at No. 4 sealed the victory.

Hofstra improves to 3-2 with the win. Marist drops to 1-4 with the loss.

Garcia and Vincent Turina posted a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles over Jack Sequerth and Carlos Vasquez to start the match. Bo Cautaerts and Ostap Kovalenko clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 win at No. 1 over Dylan Friedman and Christian Mills.

Friedman and Mills would pick up wins at first and third singles to put the Red Foxes ahead, 2-1. Ostap Kovalenko evened the score with a three set win over Gabriel Castillo (6-4, 4-6, 6-2) at No. 2. Reynolds won in straight sets over Sequerth (6-3, 6-2) to put Hofstra ahead, 3-2. Garcia followed with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Augusto Gonzalez Bonorino to close out the scoring.

Hofstra is back in action March 5 at Princeton with a 3 p.m. match time.
