New Haven, CT – April Sanchez picked up a win for Hofstra as the Pride competed against Brown on day one of the Bulldog Invitational at Yale University. The event is contested as dual matches, though team scoring is not kept.
 
The Bears won all three doubles matches and then picked up victories in four singles matches before Sanchez posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Selena Williams.
 
The Pride returns to action Saturday when it takes on Yale at 1 p.m.
