Hempstead, NY - Registration is now open for the Hofstra Pride Athletics Hall of Fame Induction and Golf Outing, to be held on Monday, August 16, 2021, at the Huntington Crescent Club in Huntington, New York. 

This induction class will include Antoine Agudio (men's basketball), Lisa Ciavardini (softball), Marques Colston (football), Tom Kessler (men's lacrosse), Jon Masa (wrestling), and Lizanne Murphy (women's basketball).

With this class, the Hofstra Athletics Hall of Fame will include 114 individuals and nine teams. 

Space for the golf outing and hall of fame induction ceremony are limited so those interested in attending are urged to register soon. All funds raised by the event directly benefit our exceptional student-athletes and dedicated coaches, providing critical financial funding that augments operating resources to support travel, equipment and programmatic expenses. 

The golf outing will begin with registration and brunch at 9:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. A cocktail reception will take place at 5 p.m. From there, the Hofstra Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and dinner will take place at 6 p.m.

SUPPORT THE OUTING VIRTUALLY
This year a virtual golf outing option is available for those who are unable to attend the in-person event. Individuals or foursomes can play any 18-hole course from now through August 16 to take part in the virtual golf outing. At the conclusion of the round of golf, one scorecard per individual/foursome will be submitted for consideration to prideclub@hofstra.edu. Virtual participants' green fees are not included in the registration fee. All virtual golfers will receive a gift for participating. 

Registration for the virtual outing is $150 per golfer and prizes are below:
• Top Individual Prize: this award goes to the individual with the best score relative to par on their course.
• Farthest Drive Prize: Playing far from Long Island, New York? You are in luck. We have a prize for the participant who registers from the address farthest from Hofstra University.
• Roar with Pride Prize: Find the most scenic spot on the golf course while wearing your Hofstra Pride gear. Take a photo and tag @HUPrideClub on social media using #RoarWithPride. The most spirited/scenic photo will receive a Hofstra Pride fan pack.
