Smithville, RI -
Odessa Stork's fifth flight singles win gave Hofstra the decisive point in a 4-3 victory over Bryant Sunday afternoon. The win completed a 2-1 weekend road trip for the Pride.
Hofstra moved to 5-4 on the season with the win while Bryant slipped to 3-4.
"It was a solid win today over the Northeast Conference runners-up from last season," said Hofstra Coach
Jason Pasion. "I am happy with the way the team bounced back after a tough 4-3 loss to Rhode Island on Saturday. Overall it was a great weekend of tennis and we are looking forward to our Colonial Athletic Association match against Towson next weekend."
The Pride won the doubles point as the Pride rallied to win the final two flights. Stork and
Ronia Dolabany picked up a 6-4 win over Caterina Luisa Rokke and Leanne Kendall at No. 3.
