Philadelphia, PA - Shawn Jackson lost his first round singles match and Giacomo Pezzoli and Jun Sasagawa lost in the first round of doubles play as Hofstra was eliminated from play at the 2019 Intercollegiate Tennis Assciation Northeast Regional at Penn Friday afternoon. 

Jackson fell to Dartmouth's David Horneffer, 6-4, 7-5 in his first round match. The Pride sophomore had been up, 4-1, in the first set before Horneffer rallied. 
 
Pezzoli and Sasagawa lost Brown's Ben Collier and Peter Litsky, 8-2, in the first round of doubles. 

Hofstra will be back in action October 26-27 at the Fordham Quad.
