Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University Department of Athletics announced today that the department and Burger Brothers Restaurant Group have signed a sponsorship agreement. 

Locally to the Hofstra campus their establishments include The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille at 1740 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, New York, and QDOBA Mexican Eats located at 2160 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow. 

"This agreement with the Burger Brothers Restaurant Group is absolute home run," mentioned Hofstra Director of Athletics Rick Cole Jr. "The Froccaro family are great friends of Hofstra Athletics and we are so excited to position ourselves with them for the long term. Working with them is especially gratifying as we can further engage our fan base at their exceptional restaurants and cheer on the Pride to victory."

The Greene Turtle is a community hangout for all ages that serves great food and drinks in a fun, casual atmosphere built on the excitement and unity of sports.

A Maryland-based menu and a brew for any palette – Guests will enjoy a menu modeled after The Greene Turtle's Eastern Shore roots with featured items like Maryland-style crab cakes, more than a dozen burger combinations and 10 varieties of wings. And to pair with the various food offerings, The Greene Turtle features over forty different local and national beers—both draft and bottle—to please the palette of any beer drinker at our three NY locations in Franklin Square, East Meadow and Smithtown.

Hofstra University is home to 17 intercollegiate athletic teams that compete at the NCAA Division I level in the Colonial Athletic Association and Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association. These sports include Baseball, Men's & Women's Basketball, Men's & Women's Cross Country, Field Hockey, Men's & Women's Golf, Men's & Women's Lacrosse, Men's & Women's Soccer, Softball, Men's & Women's Tennis, Wrestling, and Volleyball.
