Box Score Jersey City, NJ - Hofstra swept Saint Peter's Monday afternoon, 7-0, at the Yanitelli Center, winning all six singles matches in straight sets while dropping just six games in the process. The Pride also took the doubles point, dropping just three games in the three flights.

The Pride improved to 4-3 on the season while Saint Peter's fell to 0-11.

After clinching the doubles point with a 6-2 win by Odessa Stork and Jasmine King over Stephanie Falcon and Azuri Hughes, the Pride carried the momentum to singles as King down Falcon at the No. 1 flight, 6-0, 6-0. Alejandra Ruffini followed with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2 over Hughes to give the Pride a 3-0 lead in the match. Ana Canahuate-Torres sealed the victory at the No. 4 flight by defeating Marta Ortega, 6-0, 6-1.

Hofstra also got singles wins from Stork at No. 3, Meheq Khokhar at No. 5 and Ronia Dolabany at No. 6.
