WTEN: Hofstra Falls To Buffalo

Box Score Oceanside, NY - Disha Yellayi posted Hofstra's lone win on the day as Buffalo won all three doubles and five singles flights in a 6-1 victory over the Pride Saturday afternoon at Point Set Indoor Racquet Club.

Hofstra saw its record fall to 2-1 on the season while the Bulls improved to 2-1 with the win.

Yellayi kept the Pride from being blanked with a win over Arianna Paules Aldrey at the No. 6 singles flight. Yellayi won the first set by a score of 6-1, before dropping a 6-0 decision in the second. But the Hofstra junior rallied for a 10-7 win in the third set.

Hofstra will be back in action next Saturday when it hosts LIU Brooklyn (11 a.m.) and Wagner (4 p.m.) at Sportime in Bethpage, New York.
