Hempstead, NY - Security measures have been put in place at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex to ensure the safety of all guests. Guests arriving to the Mack Sports Complex are encouraged to arrive early and travel light. Anyone entering the Mack Sports Complex with a bag of any size will be subject to search. Bags that have passed inspection should be able to fit comfortably under your seat. Oversized bags that interfere with the comfort of those around you are prohibited. The Mack Sports Complex does not provide an area to check bags, coats or any other personal belongings. All guests who enter the Mack Sports Complex will enter the seating area after a metal detector screening.  

Entrances, which will be clearly marked, have been designated to assist with the flow of guests entering the building. 

Entrances B and D – General public
Entrance C - Hofstra staff and students
Entrance E – Handicap accessible 

Guests are reminded that proper and appropriate conduct is expected at all times. 

To ensure a safe and comfortable environment at the Mack Sports Complex, the following items are prohibited from being brought into the arena:
Oversized bags
Containers of any kind (including coolers, thermoses, cups, bottles, cans, flasks)
Aerosol and Spray Cans
Animals (except service animals)
Alcoholic Beverages
Apparel or signage displaying profane or abusive language
Noisemakers (including but not limited to whistles, air horns, boom boxes, bull horns, kazoos, sirens, thunder sticks, vuvuzelas, etc.)
Weapons
Explosives
Illegal Drugs
Laser Pointers
