Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra Men's Basketball team will look to return to the win column on Thursday when it hosts Towson at 7 p.m. from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.

Hofstra (9-10, 1-5 CAA) is in the midst of a five-game losing skid and will look to even its record at .500 against Towson, which enters the game sporting a 10-9 overall record and a 2-4 mark in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Deron Powers had another excellent game as he posted 20 points and eight assists. It was his second straight game with numbers of that nature has he had 21 points and eight assists at Elon on Thursday.
A trio of players average at least 13 points per game for Hofstra this season as sophomore
Justin Wright-Foreman is first with 13.5, freshman
Eli Pemberton ranks second with 13.4 and Powers is third at 13.2.
Junior
Rokas Gustys had an outstanding game at UNCW with 15 points and 16 rebounds and now is averaging 12.5 rebounds and 8.8 points per outing. It was the 30th double-double of his career and the seventh this season.
Four players average in double figures for Towson with Mike Morsell leading the way with 13.9 points per outing. Arnaud William Adala Moto ranks second with 12.4, while John Davis is third with 11.2 points per game. Davis is tops on the team with 6.8 rebounds per outing, with Adala Moto second at 6.3 caroms per game.
Hofstra leads the all-time series with Towson, 39-24. The series began during the 1982-83 season with Hofstra winning that matchup by the score of 86-71. The Pride has won three straight in the series and won the game in Hempstead last season, 84-82, after winning the game in Maryland by the score of 90-58.
