Hempstead, NY - The finals of the 2012 Hofstra University Wrestle-offs will be conducted on Sunday, October 28 at 5 p.m. The event has been moved from the Hofstra Physical Education Center to the Mack Sports Complex. Admission is free.

Preliminaries were held on Wednesday, October 24 in the Chief Ray Downey Wrestling Room with eight matches.  The Pride open their 2012-13 regular season on Friday, November 9 at the University of Minnesota. The Golden Gophers are ranked fourth in the 2012-13 WIN Magazine Preseason Tournament Power Index rankings. Hofstra is ranked 17th in the nation in the same poll.
