Lewisburg, PA - Malissa Gilanchi defeated Carlin Calcaterra, 7-6, 6-1, at third singles and Brooke Sailer defeated Courtney Casey at sixth singles for Hofstra's only wins of the day as Bucknell posted a 5-2 victory Wednesday afternoon. The Pride fall to 5-4 this spring, while Bucknell improves to 7-5.

The Bison, which have won five straight matches, swept all three doubles matches to claim one point. Bucknell also claimed four singles matches, three in straight sets. Sonia Tsay made Bucknell's Dumitrita Iepuras work for the win at fourth singles. Tsay dropped the first set 2-6, but won the second set (6-4) before falling in the third, 2-6.

The team returns to action Saturday, April 3 at Fairfield. Match time is Noon.
