Diane Caldwell is in her fourth season with the Hofstra Women's Soccer team. She began her career as a midfielder, moved to forward her freshman season, back to midfield as a sophomore, back to forward as a junior, and is now a starting central defender. As a sophomore, she assisted on the CAA championship-winning goal and an NCAA Tournament goal against Penn State.

In addition her success at Hofstra, Caldwell has also been a member of the Irish National Team since she was 17. She has played in numerous World Cup qualifiers for Ireland, and recently traveled to Europe for games against Switzerland and Kazakhstan in September. She is the ninth Irish player to play for Hofstra in the last 10 years.
