Hofstra Basketball Practice Facility

The Hofstra Basketball Practice Facility opened in 2014 and provides the Pride men’s and women’s basketball programs with a year-round dedicated facility that allows around-the-clock access as the teams train and develop their student-athletes to compete for Coastal Athletic Association Championships and NCAA Tournament berths.

Originally announced at the Hofstra Basketball Media Day on Oct. 17, 2013, the facility gives both programs an advantage over many of the universities they compete against.

The 14,000-square foot practice facility features a court with eight baskets, a sound system, a filming system with smart TV for video, signage and graphics. The facility also houses an athletic training area that includes cardio equipment.

NCG Visuals, a full-service graphic design and production agency located in New York City, oversaw the design and production of all of the graphic elements in the new facility. Rob Krolick, then the executive vice president of NCG Visuals, assisted Hofstra in every aspect of the project, and continues to be a valuable partner and resource with his new company Duggal Visual Solutions.

The design includes banners commemorating both programs retired jerseys, wall graphics recognizing the postseason appearances of each team and photos and information about the many professional athletes each squad has produced. There are also graphics celebrating the great history of both the Hofstra men’s and women’s basketball programs.

The practice facility floor is an exact replica of the main floor of the Mack Sports Complex..
