In 2007 the Hofstra University field hockey program moved into a brand new facility on the north side of campus. Cindy Lewis Stadium, which was renamed on September 1, 2024, in honor of the longtime Hofstra administrator who passed away in 2023, includes bleacher seating, a press box a FiedTurf Hockey Gold playing surface.

The Pride opened the stadium, which was then called Hofstra Field Hockey Stadium, on September 14, 2007, versus Yale. The Pride’s Brit Blankmeyer scored the first goal in stadium history 8:17 into the contest.
