Longosiwa was named the CAA Men's Outstanding Performer for his first place finishes in the 10,000m and 5,000m races at the CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship. He broke his own CAA Championship meet record in the 10,000m race with his 28:33.48 time and finished the 5,000m race at 14:55.54.
