On Tuesday in a win over St. John's Madsen had a career day on the offensive end with career-bests of six goals and seven points in the 17-13 victory over the Red Storm. He scored the six goals on just 10 shots and added a pair of ground balls and a caused turnover in the game. On Saturday, he nearly matched his goal output from Tuesday as he poured in five more goals and this time tallied career-bests of five ground balls and three caused turnovers to influence the game all over the field. For the week, he totaled 11 goals and one assist for 12 points, while also adding seven ground balls and four caused turnovers.
