John Rooney continued his outstanding season with a complete game victory over then-CAA leading College of Charleston on April 20. Rooney allowed five hits and an unearned run, while striking out seven batters to improve to 6-0 on the season. He lowered his CAA-best ERA to 0.97 and picked up his second complete game of the year.
