Raj Chidambaram joined the Hofstra staff in November 2024 and serves as the assistant director of broadcast productions.
Chidambaram brings a wealth of professional experience with him into his new role at Hofstra. He has been a freelance technical director, graphics coordinator, and scorebug operator for a variety of networks, including ESPN, CBS, and FOX, since 2018. His recent career highlights include technical directing national live sports, the NBA 2K League, Halo HCS Atlanta, and engineering an E-sports tournament for the US Navy at Pearl Harbor during 4th of July.
Chidambaram is a double graduate of Hofstra University; he received his bachelor’s degree in film/TV production in May 2018, and he graduated with his MBA in marketing in May 2020. As a student at Hofstra, Chidambaram was a producer for Hofstra Pride Productions from September 2018 until May 2020, producing live, multi-camera academic and athletics events at Hofstra and overseeing all technical aspects of each broadcast.
