High School/Personal
Spent the first four years (starting as an eighth-grader) of his scholastic career at Shoreham Wading River High School before enrolling at Montverde Academy in Florida for his senior year...Was part of two Suffolk County championship teams at Shoreham Wading River and was a Perfect Game All-American in 2012...Two-time All-New York State selection...Batted over .400 in each of his first three seasons before missing the 2013 campaign due to injury...In his one season at Montverde Academy he batted .380 with three home runs and 27 RBIs, earning Diamond Club accolades...Has two sisters...Lists Mike Trout as his favorite athlete...Hobbies include fishing...Started playing baseball at age 6...Rhetorical studies major.
