The goal of the Varsity H Club is to recognize and honor all former Hofstra varsity student-athletes for their dedication, excellence, and contributions to Hofstra athletics.
The Varsity H Club is a prestigious group of former student-athletes, sharing and reliving experiences, networking, participating in social activities, promoting and nurturing the Hofstra tradition of both athletic and academic excellence.
As a member of the Varsity H Club you will share camaraderie among a diverse group of remarkable men and women. Whether your collegiate athletic career ended last season or 60 years ago, whether you live on Long Island or on the other side of the country, you are forever connected to Hofstra Athletics. With membership come benefits and opportunities. Join your fellow Hofstra former student-athletes in sustaining, encouraging and supporting the growth and success of Hofstra athletics.
Purpose – To provide an organization through which past varsity athletics participants can maintain a lifetime association with Hofstra University and its department of athletics, and to celebrate the unique bond of being a Hofstra student-athlete.
The mission of the Varsity H Club is:
•To build the shared bond of varsity sport participation between former athletes
•To contribute to the social and professional enrichment of its members
•To encourage the continued involvement and participation of its members in select Hofstra University activities
•To cooperate with other university organizations
•To uphold and enrich the great tradition of Hofstra Athletics.
