Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra University men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to Fairfield Saturday at the Hofstra Tennis Courts. The loss was Hofstra's first of the season after opening with a pair of victories.

The Stags picked up the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 flights and then won all three completed singles matches in straight sets to clinch the victory.

Prior to the match, Hofstra honored seniors Alvaro Arce Lopez-Sanchez and Yusuke Nishitani.

Hofstra is back in action Monday at Siena.
