Hofstra guard Cruz Davis had another strong week in leading Hofstra to a pair of wins to extend the win streak to six games and open CAA play with a 2-0 record.Â
Davis averages 21.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game.Â
On Monday against Campbell, Davis had 22 points, seven assists, and five rebounds as Hofstra was never seriously challenged in defeating Campbell. Davis was 6-11 from the field and 9-9 from the free throw line against the Camels.Â
On Saturday, he once again led all scorers with 20 points and added six rebounds, and five assists in the road win over the Dragons. He also played 40 minutes in that contest.Â
For the week, Davis shot 50% from the field and 16-19 from the free throw line. He played 79 out of a possible 80 minutes. Davis has scored at least 20 points in four consecutive games and nine times this season. He has scored in double figures in all 15 games this season.Â
