Hempstead, NY – As the 2022-23 regular season winds down, the Hofstra women's basketball team heads to Hampton, Virginia to take on Hampton in a late-season bout of Colonial Athletic Association foes on Thursday, March 2.
Tip-off from the Hampton University Convocation Center is 7 p.m.

Hofstra concluded its home schedule with a 69-67 defeat to Monmouth this past Sunday.
Brandy Thomas led the team with 19 points, and she was joined in double-figures by
Emma Von Essen with 13 points, and
Zyheima Swint with 12 points. Swint also lead the Pride with seven rebounds on the day, and
Ally Knights dished out six assists.
Hampton is 10-16 overall and 7-9 in the CAA following a 79-46 defeat to Northeastern this past Sunday. Leading the Lady Pirates in scoring is Nylah Young with 14.0 points per game.
Sunday marks the second-ever meeting between Hofstra and Hampton. The teams previously played this season on January 29, a 74-55 win for the Lady Pirates in Hempstead.
