Hempstead, NY - Each week, leading up to the
2013 Hall of Fame Dinner on April 13, GoHofstra.com will feature one of the
seven individuals and two teams being inducted in the Class of 2013. Today Lena
Malinowski of the volleyball team is highlighted.
"Lena
loved volleyball and was a fierce competitor. She taught everyone around her
how to rise to the occasion, be proud to wear the HOFSTRA jersey and to play
with tremendous style. I'm so pleased to know that Lena Malinowski, #4, will be
inducted into the Hofstra Hall of Fame. It is well deserved." - Fran Kalafer,
Hofstra Volleyball Coach (1981-2005)
A
volleyball student-athlete from 1994 to 1998, Malinowski is the program's
