PRIDE PLACE 12TH AT ECAC CHAMPIONSHIP

Ali Hanlon shot a second consecutive 79 (+7) to finish tied for 18th, and the Pride placed 12th overall at the ECAC Championship at the Kiskiack Golf Course Sunday afternoon.

Hofstra shot a 329 on Sunday, an 11-stroke improvement from round one, to finish with a two-day total of 669. Harvard shot rounds of 296 and 304 to win the event at 600. The Crimson claimed the top four individual spots with Claire Sheldon shooting a 145 (+1) to earn the individual championship.

In addition to Hanlon, Morgan Heyrman finished tied for 40th with a 164 and Amy Hoffman was 49th with a 169. Amanda Rumore and Liz Warren shot 180 to finish tied for 61st.

The Pride is back in action October 12-13 at the Hofstra Invitational at the Bethpage Red Course.
