A women’s lacrosse student-athlete from 2002 to 2005, Bridget Eder Harris is one of only four two-time All-Americans and the only first team All-American in program history after earning that honor following her senior campaign. 

The native of Baltimore, Maryland, tallied a program and Colonial Athletic Association-record 229 ground balls during her career to go along with 135 draw controls and 126 caused turnovers. Her 126 caused turnovers is a program record and she ranks ninth all-time in draw controls. 

A defender, Eder Harris was the CAA Defensive Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005, and was a three-time All-CAA First Team selection. In addition to her All-America and all-conference accolades, Eder Harris also was a three-time IWLCA All-Region pick and was a first team selection as a junior and senior.

Following graduation from Hofstra with a degree in physical education, Eder Harris would spend the 2005-06 academic year as an assistant women’s lacrosse coach at American University in Washington, D.C. In 2006-07, she served as an assistant coach at CAA-rival Drexel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she helped the Dragons to a 12-5 record.

Eder Harris attended graduate school between 2007 and 2010, graduating with a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Since 2010, she has been employed as a school-based physical therapist for Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland.

Eder Harris and her husband, Mike, have four daughters - Cecilia, Finley, Keagan, and Carlin - and reside in Elkridge, Maryland.
