Antoine Agudio, a member of the men's basketball program from 2004 to 2008, graduated as the program's all-time leading scorer with 2,276 points, surpassing a mark that had stood since 1965. He also added a program-best 357 three-pointers and 317 assists. During his tenure, Hofstra won 95 games and made three consecutive National Invitation Tournament appearances (2005-07).

He currently ranks third all-time in scoring and remains the Pride's all-time three-point field goal leader. A four-time All-Colonial Athletic Association selection, Agudio was the CAA Rookie of the Year in 2005. He was also a two-time All-Met Basketball Writers Association honoree and the Most Valuable Player at the 2006 Holiday Festival at Madison Square Garden.

After a red-shirt season as a true freshman in 2003-04, Agudio started all 30 games in 2004-05 and ranked second on the team at 15.1 points per game. He had 82 three-pointers that season and shot .423 from beyond the arc. He was the CAA Rookie of the Year and a Third Team All-CAA selection after ranking third in the league in scoring and second in three-pointers and three-point field goal percentage.

Agudio started all 33 games for the Pride in 2005-06 and was second on the team in scoring at 17.2 points. He once again led the squad in three-pointers (91) and three-point percentage (.421) and was a Second Team All-CAA pick. Hofstra would win a then-school record 26 games that season and advance to the NIT Quarterfinals. Agudio would up his scoring to 20.2 points per game in 2006-07 and added 100 three-pointers and a .433 three-point percentage in 32 games. An All-CAA First Team selection, Agudio ranked third in the league in scoring and first in three-pointers and three-point field goal percentage.

During his final season, Agudio averaged a team and CAA-best 22.7 points per game and was second in the league with 82 three-pointers and a .410 three-point field goal percentage. He was an All-CAA First Team selection.

Agudio, who graduated with a degree in interdisciplinary studies, averaged 18.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game during his Hofstra career and owns a .422 three-point field goal percentage. His career points per game average ranks 10th all-time and his 357 career three-pointers rank second all-time in CAA history.

Following graduation, Agudio enjoyed a long career in the NBA G-League and played professionally in Europe. He is currently a paraprofessional in the Half Hollow Hills School District on Long Island and serves as the junior varsity basketball coach at his alma mater, Walt Whitman High School.
